The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM), established in 2004 by the Ministry of Tourism - Govt. of India and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (now Government of Telangana) offers MBA (Tourism & Hospitality Management); BBA (Tourism & Hospitality Management) under Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University – Hyderabad and B.Sc (Hotel & Hospitality Administration) under the aegis of (NCHMCT) National Council of Hotel & Catering Technology – New Delhi. NITHM is a pioneer institution in the area of tourism and hospitality education, research and consultancy.
NITHM began academic operations in October 2004, as a sector-specific institute, modeled on the lines of IIT's and IIM's. NITHM focuses on education, research, training, and consultancy in the tourism and hospitality sector in India and abroad.
NITHM offers career-oriented courses for motivated students who seek academic excellence, personal growth, and professional success. A range of well-known sector-specific companies from Travel and Tourism, Airports, Hotels, Cruise liners, Facilities and Event Management recruit students for internship and final placements.
